Learner support intensive

This learner intensive session is designed to assist learners to complete their Medical Terminology assessments, in the following assessment only modality

Course arrangements:

This course is delivered in one (1)  face to face session, designed to support participants to complete their Medical Terminology course.

1. What learners will do;
   1. Venue and time;
      1. agree as a group to a time/location that suits ALL learners to participate as a group
      2. book a suitable training venue
         1. send a calendar event to confirm the time/location of the venue
         2. the venue MUST have power and 1 desk for each learner + 1 desk for the assessor + overhead projector + power + internet + laptop with access to the ASH intranet
   2. review all emails regarding your formative and summative assessments prior to attending the session and bring any materials that you feel will assist you in completing these assessments.
   3. log into your online profile (using the Redpath laptops) and work as a group or individually to complete your formative and summative assessment(s)
   4. bring with you;
      1. your completed summative 2 assessment (Project) work.
      2. any hardcopy documents which answer your formative or summative assessments 1 or summative assessment 2, which MUST be able to be uploaded against your answers on the day.
      3. any hard copy or scanned documents on a USB stick to include in their POE, or to discuss on the day to assist in completing your formative or summative assessments 1 or summative assessment 2.
   5. IMMEDIATELY have your Third Party Supervisor email their approval and authorisation to; tony.spencer@redpatheducation.com.au to enable their log-in to be activated.
   6. bring your completed Third Party report for the learners to enter on the day, if your Third Party supervisor will afford you access.
   7. organise your Exit Interviews
      1. Exit Interviews will only be accepted, where learners have satisfactorily completed their formative assessments + summative assessments 1 + summative assessment 2 + Third Party report.
2. What Redpath Education will do;
1. agree to and sign on-line the new learner contract
2. the unit of competence requires the assessor to observe you working to complete assigned tasks and manage contingencies.  The assessor will observe you completing these tasks up to and including the learner support session, and will enter these notes in your workplace observation.
3. deliver the session as an intensive for learners wishing to complete the assessments only
4. the target is to complete the session (formative + summative assessments 1 + summative assessment 2 + Third Party Report) within the hour.

Course fee:

Fees are payable though the website by credit card (Visa/MC).

A 'No Refunds Policy' applies to all online learning courses once you have been issued with your user name and passwords, whether you have accessed the system or not.

Pre-payment secures your enrolment for this course, and all fees must be paid on enrolment.

• $190 per participant (incl; $65 enrolment fee + $75/hr assessor support + $50 certification)

Remote travel is additional to the course cost, and will be quoted on request
